- How many years have you been coach driving? 14 years on and off.
- How many years have you been driving with our company? Just over a year now.
- What inspired you to become a coach driver? I always enjoyed driving and it was a big part of my job when I was auditing. Eventually the opportunity came up and I jumped at it. It’s the best kept secret out there!
- When you're not on the road, how do you like to spend your time? I’m a big family man, love being home (which is strange thing to say given how long I’m away!). Lovely wife Kerry, two grown up girls, and an English cocker spaniel named Archie. I play tennis and love cheeky socials with friends and family.
- What is your favourite country, destination, or tour you've driven to? I love Germany and France.
- What makes it your top choice? The Alsace tour I did last year was fabulous. Beautiful old towns (Trier, Strasbourg and Luxembourg). Great hospitality, amazing food, stunning drives.
- What's your favourite memory from a past tour? My favourite memory has to be a tour from earlier this year (Little Boats of the Mediterranean). Day 1 we take a boat from Roses to Cadaqués. Lovely smooth cruise on the way out, but we got absolutely battered by the weather on the way back. Four passengers and I stayed out on deck and were soaked to the bone! I don't think we stopped laughing the whole journey, it was FANTASTIC!
- If you could provide a top travel tip for our passengers, what would that be? Just relax and try to speak the local language. People tend to get embarrassed and shy away from trying to communicate with the locals. I've always found that trying to speak the language improves your holiday no end.
