Join us on our one-of-a-kind holiday to watch renowned violinist and conductor, André Rieu, at one of his homecoming concerts in Maastricht. Taking over the Vrijthof Square in the centre of Maastricht, the open-air concert includes performances by André and the Johann Strauss Orchestra, special guests, and some of the best waltzes and classical music. Maastricht is André Rieu’s hometown, and the only city in the world where he performs open-air concerts every single year – the summer performances are the ultimate experience for his fans. Before we take our seats at the concert, we’ll enjoy a discovery of Maastricht and pre-concert dinner.

Itinerary
Please choose your preferred 4 day itinerary
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then we travel to our hotel for a three-night stay.
We start our day with a visit to the city of Maastricht. Wander the charming old city centre or take some time out to see the Stokstraat Quarter, the Basilica of Our Lady and the Ramparts.
This evening, prior to the concert, we include a pre-concert meal in Maastricht.
Afterwards, we take our seat for the highlight of our tour – the André Rieu concert. From romantic, emotional ballads to celebrated waltzes, expect to be taken on a musical journey like no other as André captivates the crowd with his charismatic presence.

Valkenburg is sometimes called ‘Marlstone Town’ because of the lime found in the soil and the soft yellow marlstone which has, since Roman times, been quarried as a building material. As a result, there is now a network of over 150 miles of underground corridors beneath the town. A visit to these caves is highly recommended.
There is plenty here to keep you occupied above ground as well, such as the castle ruins and shops, bars, cafés and restaurants.
